"I now have a dog that listens, waits for commands, and is still as joyful and full of energy as he ever was. As a breed with a high energy level, I thought training would be more difficult, but he has trained faster than any dog I have ever had. He is now 2 years old, and I get compliments on his behavior when he is camping with our family and walking in a heel with my six year old son, and sitting down each time he stops. I can take him off leash in new environments and have him come back to me immediately when called. He waits to be invited into the house and out of the car.
In addition to my personal experience with Arthur, I have referred many clients with behavioral issues to Pack Leaders, and these dogs have made remarkable progress, and become really great pets.
I would strongly recommend Pack Leaders training programs to dog owners looking for simple obedience or behavioral issues. The positive way they train is eye-opening, and I have seen great success stories."

Angie was highly recommended to us. We're so glad we chose her! Beginning training with Angie while our lab pup (Roxy) was quite young, has provided significant results. Life is much more enjoyable than before. By the age of 8 months, she's already learned commands some dogs don't learn until adulthood or some dogs never learn. Just a few:
--Waits until everyone else has gone up/downstairs and through doors.
--Comes when called, from both short and long distances.
--Does not jump on visitors and counter tops.
--Will sit and stay in place for extended periods.
--Walks well on leash and obeys "Leave it" command, both on leash and off.
Angie uses creative teaching methods and is so professional. Her approach is stimulating and fun for our dog, while the creativity makes exercises simple for us to repeat. Practice now is way more productive than before. She always encourages us to ask questions. When talking with Angie, her passion and remarkable knowledge she has for dog behavior is so apparent.
To spend less time correcting dog behaviors and more time becoming a great dog companion, do this:
1) Get Angie Scharpf as your trainer
2) Start your pup in training when it's young
Angie is the best. We highly recommend her!
Respectfully yours,
Lori and Steve Miller

"We were very close to giving our Kenai away. He was wild, huge and showing some aggression. We were having no success in changing his behavior so we called in the experts. Kenai is a changed dog. The very first session we noticed huge improvements and I'm not just talking about the long nap he would take after training :-) Kenai was a quick learner and enjoyed the mental challenge training required. My husband was skeptical at first, but after the first week he remarked that the training was already money well spent. I wholeheartedly agree! Now our kids can walk the dog without fear of him running off or pulling them into the street. We enjoy taking him to the park to see what new things we can get him to 'place' on. His puppy exuberance is still there- it's just managed better. We now have a dog we all enjoy being around - we'd be lost without him!" ~Beech's
"We wish we would have found Pack Leaders earlier! We have always had two or three wire fox terriers in our family and invariably had trouble with them fighting. When we recently added Anabel to our family, we wanted to be certain that we didn't have to break up dangerous fights. We called on Angie for help after hearing about her successes with several other dogs. Not only do we have the tools we need to control our dogs behavior (no fights!), we're also able to take our dog Franklin on walks. When Angie started working with him, Franklin wouldn't even walk inside the house if we put a collar on him. Angie really understands how dog thinks and has sensible training to teach the person how to handle the dog. We highly recommend her." ~ Perez's

"We had just gotten our second dog, Webster. Toby, our oldest dog, and Webster were not getting along very well and we were having issues with getting the dogs to obey. After 1 class, we saw a huge improvement in both our dogs. I can't recommend this program highly enough." ~ Weaver's
"Opie really enjoyed his classes with Angie. Bulldogs are said to be stubborn, but she had him making progress right away. His behavior has been greatly improved in a very short time. We are both looking forward to group classes this summer" ~Wyatt's

"Working with Pack Leaders has really made it enjoyable to have a new puppy in our home! It's so nice to be able to focus on the fun of having a puppy, because we now have excellent tools to deal with the obedience issues. Thank you!" ~ Eganhouse's

"I can not say enough about the experience we have had with Angie at Pack Leaders! I have had dogs all of my life and always have done our own training with them so I felt I had a good understanding of what was needed with training our puppy. However, our busy lifestyle made it difficult for us to stay focused and with Louie's very active demeanor, made me think it would be a good idea to get assistance from an expert. I am so glad I did. We would not be where we are with our puppy without the knowledge and expertise from Angie. At each session, she was patient and understanding. I appreciate her taking the time to discuss with us our concerns, focus and help troubleshoot. Angie was great with working with our entire family so we could all be involved with the training process. I can't express enough the difference we have seen with our puppy, we have a much more controlled and happy dog in our home. I am truly amazed with where Louie is with his training. We are having so much fun carrying on the training and enjoy coming up with new adventures for him. For example, we walked along a gravel road and let me roam in a field without his leash. Never have I felt confident with any of my dogs to be able to do this. I highly recommend Angie from Pack Leaders to assist any family with their dog. In my opinion, she is the best in the area and we are lucky to have her in the area." ~ Hick's
" Angie's approach to training has done wonders for me and my dog. I look forward to using her techniques to get an even more well behaved dog. Angie is easy to work with and fun to be around. It's clear she loves dogs and is very good at training." ~ Shepard's

"It was amazing how Maci bonded with you by the 2nd session. You brought out of Maci what I didn't think she had in her. It's so fun to see Maci enjoy learning new tricks and wear herself out." ~ Wooten's

"I adopted my dog, Cooper, a 1 year old male Goldendoodle, four months before starting with Pack Leaders. Going into the training, Cooper had a tendency to run out of open doors, take off through the neighborhood and had no recall what-so-ever. Needless to say, I was skeptical that he would be 'off leash reliable' after only 5 weeks of training, but I was desperate and hoped that it would at least help a little bit. During our second training session, Angie asked me to let Cooper off the leash outside in a field with no fence. After some reassurance, I unhooked him. To my joyous surprise Cooper didn't head for the hills! With calling his name and a quick nick from the e-collar, he came running back to Angie and I with no hesitation! I was so ecstatic I thought I was going to hug Angie! Maybe I did!? What I thought would never happen took place on only our second training session! From then on, Cooper and I made leaps and bounds with our training. By our fifth session, we had accomplished all I had hoped for and more. I am forever grateful for Angie and how she helped me believe in Cooper, and most importantly, helped Cooper believe in me. Thanks Angie and Pack Leaders!" ~ Weiss's

"We knew Elsa was going to be a hyper lab puppy! At the dog park we always went with caution because we weren't sure Elsa would listen to us as she met new doggie friends. After going through training with Angie, we feel so confident going to the dog park now. Our worries have been put to ease. With the command 'come' and sometimes a 'tap' on the shoulder, Elsa comes to us with no problem. We are so glad we chose Pack Leaders and look forward to working with Angie again!" ~ Gussman's
