Pack Walk Information and Rules

Pack Walks are held in the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. We meet at local trails to walk, talk, and put our loose lead walking skills to work. Everyone that shows up is working towards the same goal (to get comfortable bringing your dog into real-life distractions while your dog learns to behave around other dogs and people). 
Every age is welcome (dogs and people). We have dogs of every temperament and level of training at the walk. 

I Recommend You Bring:

  • Poop bags
  • Water (for you AND your dog)
  • Treats. Treats are not necessary, however, if you feel that your dog will benefit from having extra motivation to tune-in, you're welcome to bring some. 

Have Your Dog Ready Upon Arrival

  • E-collar properly fitted on the dog snug enough to make consistent contact.
  • A collar that your dog cannot slip out of no matter what acrobatics he/she may attempt. A martingale collar or prong collar are ideal. 
  • Use a standard leash (4-6 feet long) 
No retractable leashes allowed

Please keep your dog current on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm preventatives.

IMPORTANT RULE

​As a courtesy to the other dogs, do not allow your dog into another dog's personal space. Not all dogs want to be friends. If you are found repeatedly breaking this rule you will be asked to leave.
