In-Home Training Consultations

What does the consultation entail? 

• Discussion of your dog training goals
• A brief training demonstration and explanation of training equipment we may use
• You can now make an educated decision about moving forward with a PLDT training program. 
• Schedule approximately 90 minutes for this appointment. 
• $75 fee due at the time of scheduling

In-Home Training Programs

There is true value in having the lessons conducted on your own turf. It is the BEST place for you to learn how to train your dog...after all, that is where you spend most of the time with your furry friend!

​Your dog can learn the following skills:

• Off-leash freedom
• ​Come when called

• Loose lead walking (heel)                          
• No jumping up on guests, counters, etc.
• Eliminate play-biting/mouthing/inappropriate chewing
• Wait at the door
• Housebreaking
• Out (send the dog out of the kitchen or other room)​
• Claim space (teach your dog to respect your personal space)
  
• Sit on command (maintaining a sit)
• Down on command (maintaining a down)
• Place (go to a bed or mat and remain there)
• Quiet on command (eliminate incessant barking)
• Drop an item from his/her mouth
• Scent games 
• Tricks
